During our Archery Training and Workshop Experience, you’ll step into a day of heritage, craftsmanship, and immersive learning as you meet Tomorkhuu Batmonkh—Mongolia’s foremost bow and arrow maker, based in Ulaanbaatar.
Batmonkh’s home doubles as his workshop, every surface a testament to his craft. Enter his three-room apartment in the Bayangol District, and you’ll instantly sense his passion. As he recounts the evolution of archery in Mongolia, his enthusiasm is infectious, offering you not just a lesson in technique but a glimpse into living tradition.
After exploring the artistry behind bow and arrow making, it’s time to put knowledge into practice. Under Batmonkh’s expert guidance, you’ll take up one of his celebrated bows—renowned for their speed and precision and trusted by Mongolia’s top archers—and experience the thrill of unleashing an arrow yourself.
