About Us: Committed to Mongolia
Who We Are: ‘Manaikhan’ – Our People, Our Family
Founded in 2010 by Jessica and Turuu, we are a small Mongolian-registered company, handling about 150-200 bookings annually, with a deep commitment to social impact. Our business is driven by a strong ethical framework, aiming to make a positive difference through tourism that preserves the livability of Mongolia.

We personally research and design every itinerary to foster the skills development of our team and provide sustained support to a diverse range of Mongolian individuals, families, and community projects. Our approach ensures that each experience enriches the lives of those involved without disrupting their daily routines.
By working directly with local communities, we establish long-term partnerships that go beyond conventional tourism, breaking down stereotypes and offering a more nuanced view of Mongolian society. These collaborations are essential to our goal of creating tours that genuinely benefit both visitors and locals alike. We call ourselves ‘manaikhan,’ which means “ours” or “our people” in Mongolian. Another word for it is family.
We are more than just a standard corporate tour company focused on profit. As a registered social travel enterprise, we aim to ensure our work benefits Mongolia’s local projects, people, and communities as much as it benefits our guests and our business. We believe in equality, meaning our guests are equal to our Mongolian team, who are equal to the extended Mongolian communities we work with in long-term partnerships. Respect is at the core of our values, and we see ourselves as part of the Mongolian communities we have been visiting and supporting since Eternal Landscapes was founded.
Our approach is not to run the business solely on the basis of financial profit. We create Mongolian experiences that deliver tangible benefits to the local communities we work with while also considering the social equity of the people we employ.

Measuring Our Impact
Tourism can empower women, particularly through the provision of direct jobs and income-generation.
Projects We Support
As part of our responsible tourism philosophy, we have established partnerships with local projects in Mongolia. Our support goes beyond financial donations (though we do contribute); we integrate these projects into our trips. This approach ensures that the experiences we offer have a greater positive impact on local communities, providing support that extends beyond financial contributions. We have collaborated with most of these projects for over a decade. See below for examples of our work, or follow this link for more.
